I’ve been thinking a bit about this whole Flickr vs. Instagram, and I was honestly quite worried, because I’ve never used Instagram before and to me it’s a village in Russia.
I am slowly starting to figure it out, and while I agree that what Flickr is doing is thoroughly frustrating, they too are a business that needs to feed people, so I understand it too. What I fear the most is to lose the followerbase I’ve worked extremely hard to get, as all bloggers do, since I have never used instragram before and therefor haven’t got the same follower base. I was planning on upgrading to Pro anyway in the new year, so as much as it frustrates me what Flickr is doing, I am going to keep using it and simply add Instagram as another platform to post on as well.
