All magic comes at a price

It’s Halloween this month! Yay! Though I have to admit, I haven’t always appreciated Halloween. I found it a very scary time when I was younger, but I’ve grown more fond of it – not because I’ve grown fond of scary things, but because of the mood and excitement of the people around me. The atmosphere is what I enjoy.

All magic comes at a price

With that said, Salem’s open – and there’s something for every Halloween lover out there. ♥ Dead Dollz has released the cute skull dress I am wearing in the photo – you can see the full dress and the awesome backside (of the dress 😉 ) below the credits.

Also to find in my post is Izzie’s – a brand I have supported and loved for years! This time she has released a set of fresh claw wounds and a set of aged scars to match – and I have to say, I feel she does it best. Wounds & scars come for both head and body – they aren’t made for Genus, but I used the LAQ omega applier and it worked fine. ♥

Alaskametro (I always have to double check that I spelled this right) has released the makeup I am wearing, also at Salem. It comes with a good selection of glitters and plain lipstick and eyeshadow. I normally do not buy makeup, but this I actually quite like despite how dark it is. ♥

For Uber, Glam Affair has released another cute skin, “Annie,” this time for Genus head. It comes with different shades of eyebrows and a no brow version if you want to add your own, as well as three different kinds of freckles and moles. See the Lelutka Uber release here.

My hair (which I absolutely love) you can find at Hair Fair, which is definitely an event worth supporting. A percentage of the sales go to “Wigs for Kids,” and I personally bought a lot more than usual, knowing that it supports such a good cause. Cancer can hit us all without warning, and I’ve personally had it close to home with my brother undergoing cancer treatment currently. Thankfully his is going well still – fingers crossed. ♥ You can read more about Hair Fair, the good cause and see the shopping guide on the official Hair Fair blog.

Last, but not least! Cae is releasing the Skull Collection. The set consists of Necklace, dangling earrings and studs. In this photo I am wearing the dangling earrings. The HUD contains the usual beautiful gem colors and metal. However! This time the HUD also contains a black metal if you want to go really dark and gothic for Halloween. ♥

It’s nearly Hair Fair 2018 time! ❤ I am super excited for this event every year! Some of the best hair designers on the grid, hair galore and you support a good cause at the same time! ❤

From the September 3rd till September 13th, TWO lucky winners each day have a chance to win early access to Hair Fair 2018 – one of you, and one for your friend. There will be 10 drawings, and tickets will be emptied at every drawing, so come every day to get your shot at winning! The only requirement is that you and your friend are available on September 21st, where the early access will take place.

Hair Fair 2018 - Raffle Promo Poster

Over the years in the lead up to Hair Fair, we ran a photography contest to win prizes and the most coveted early access to Hair Fair. This year we decided to bring everyone back into Second Life itself. The plan is to get people amped up and excited for Hair Fair by visiting different Hair stores all over the grid, and entering the first Hair Fair VIP Early Access Raffle.

To enter is a two-teleport process:

  1. Teleport to one of the stores listed below click the ticket dispenser (as shown) and get a folder containing a ticket a landmark, and info notecard.
  2. Teleport using that landmark, wear the ticket and click the entry terminal. If you happen to get distracted by wonderful hair and items on the way, well that is just more fun for you.

At the end of each Second Life day, we will list two winners on this website and a new draw will commence. You can enter a new draw each day just teleport to a different store, grab a new raffle ticket, wear it, teleport using the landmark and submit your entry at the raffle machine. It is that easy! Just remember you cannot use tickets more than once, and you cannot get a new ticket from a store you previously visited.

If you have any questions please contact Sasy Scarborough.

Each store listed below has a Raffle ticket dispenser visible at that location. (Not all stores participating in Hair Fair are listed due to vacations prior to the event.)

For SLURLs to the various stores, visit the original post on Hair Fair 2018s website!
